Daniel Heymann studied Law in Göttingen, Dresden and Exeter (UK). Before joining petersenparnters (formerly PETERSEN HARDRAHT PRUGGMAYER) in 2016, he practised law at MOHNS TINTELNOT PRUGGMAYER VENNEMANN in Leipzig from 2003 to 2015. Daniel Heymann specialises in copyright and media law and has decades of expertise in press and freedom of expression law. He primarily advises and represents publishers and a broadcasting company, but also supports individuals affected by violations of their personal rights. In addition, he is still actively involved in copyright law, competition law and industrial property rights.
